Walter Feinberg (CAS’60, GRS’62,’66) of Champaign, Ill., a philosopher of education, published Educating for Democracy (Cambridge University Press, new ed. 2023). The book “provides a vision for curriculum reform that promotes democratic citizenry in an age of climate change and attacks on basic democratic institutions,” Walter writes.
