Vickie Fulkerson

Vickie Fulkerson (COM’90) of Niantic, Conn., was named sports editor at The Day in New London, where she has worked for 33 years. She has covered the University of Connecticut women’s basketball team through 11 Final Fours, along with Double-A baseball, indoor lacrosse, and Coast Guard Academy football. Previously, she was The Day’s scholastic sports editor. Vickie has been inducted into four state halls of fame: High School Coaches Association, Scholastic and Collegiate Softball, Girls’ Soccer Coaches Association, and Women’s Basketball.
