Sakena Young-Scaggs

Sakena Young-Scaggs (STH’00,’02) of Menlo Park, Calif., was appointed pastor and senior associate dean for religious and spiritual life at the Stanford University Memorial Church. Sakena is an ordained Itinerant Elder in the African Methodist Episcopal Church. Previously, she served as the associate dean of Marsh Chapel and as the associate Protestant university chaplain at Brown University, where she taught in the Africana Studies Department.
