Rolanda Ward

Rolanda Ward (SSW’97, STH’02, GRS’09) of Buffalo, N.Y., was recognized by the National Federation for Just Communities of Western New York for her work creating and leading the Niagara Falls Health Equity Task Force. The task force represents stakeholders from every part of the Niagara Falls community. After learning about the racial disparities in her community regarding who had access to COVID-related healthcare, she formed a team to provide education around and access to COVID-19 testing and tracing, as well as food, shelter, medicine, and other supplies to everyone in Niagara Falls.
