Rocio Silva-Santisteban (GRS’06) of Lima, Peru, writes, “Two years ago, in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, as a congresswoman for my country, I had to assume the presidency of the Congress of the Republic. This happened after a political crisis that led to the death of two young activists. It was only 48 hours, but this time allowed us to face the crisis and provide a democratic solution.”
