Peter Fraenkel

Peter Fraenkel (CAS’80) of New York, N.Y., published Last Chance Couple Therapy: Bringing Relationships Back from the Brink (W. W. Norton, 2023). “I am forever grateful to BU for my fine education—I was a philosophy and psychology double major, honors in psychology—and for the generous support I received as a Buck Scholar,” he writes. “I graduated as the University’s salutatorian and received my PhD in clinical psych from Duke in 1988. The Buck Fund also provided support for me in my first year at Duke.” Peter is a licensed psychologist and a tenured associate professor of psychology at the City College of New York’s Colin Powell School for Civic and Global Leadership.
