Nancy Rosenstock
Nancy Rosenstock (CGS’69, CAS’71) of Chicago, Ill., published Inside the Second Wave of Feminism: Boston Female Liberation, 1968–1972—An Account by Participants (Haymarket Books, 2022), the story of a radical feminist organization of which she was a member. “There is so much Boston history here,” she writes, “from the ‘die-in’ in 1969 in Marsh Chapel in support of men burning their draft cards, to Howard Zinn’s class out of which another woman and I organized one of the first consciousness-raising groups, to the second national conference of the Women’s National Abortion Action Coalition, held at BU in 1972, and much more.”
