Michele Currie Navakas

Michele Currie Navakas (CAS’01) of Oxford, Ohio, is an assistant professor of English at Miami University of Ohio. She has published her first book, Liquid Landscape: Geography and Settlement at the Edge of Early America (University of Pennsylvania, 2017), a study of early US writing about the perils and prospects of inhabiting Florida’s radically unstable ground.
