Meryl Meyer (CAS’69) of Weaverville, N.C., writes, “I recently wrote, illustrated, and published my first children’s book, Their Secret to Keep (Outskirts Press, 2020). Synopsis: It’s wintertime in the mountains. A lonely little girl embarks on an imaginary adventure with her cat to find out where the backyard critters are hiding. Her curiosity leads to unexpected friendships, whimsical imaginings, factual discoveries, and happiness. I am also a retired art therapist, associate member of the Pastel Society of America, and member of excellence with the Appalachian Pastel Society.” Classmates can email Meryl at mermey@frontier.com.
