Marilyn Arsem

Marilyn Arsem (CFA’73) of Jamaica Plain, Mass., a performance artist, writes, “In 2015, I received the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston’s (MFA) Maud Morgan Prize, and performed 100 Ways to Consider Time at the MFA. The work was 100 different 6-hour performances on the nature of time, in 100 consecutive days. In 2020, Intellect Books of the UK, in partnership with the University of Chicago Press, published Responding to Site: The Performance Work of Marilyn Arsem, coedited by Jennie Klein and Natalie Loveless. The book features 12 essays on my work by academics and artists, as well as my writing on teaching, and 200 color photographs of performances.” Classmates can email Marilyn at contact@marilynarsem.net.
