Kristen Lee

Kristen Lee (SSW’00) of Boston, Mass., has more than two decades of clinical experience in outpatient mental health, and 13 years of teaching and leadership roles in higher education. Kristen, who leads the behavior science program at Northeastern University, published Worth the Risk: How to Microdose Bravery to Grow Resilience, Connect More, and Offer Yourself to the World (Sounds True, 2022). The book “shows us that by ‘microdosing’ small acts of bravery and connection, we can regain the self-confidence and resilience we need to live full and meaningful lives,” she writes. “We are hardwired for risk-taking.
