Karen Laakko

Karen Laakko (GRS’15) of Framingham, Mass., published After the Breaking and Beyond the Hostile Sky (Atmosphere Press, 2022), the first two books in her fantasy/sci-fi series, the Beyond the Hostile Sky Cycle. She revised the series while studying applied linguistics at Boston University and says she was influenced by her coursework.
