John Stolz
John Stolz (GRS’84) of Pittsburgh, Pa., was elected a fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science in April 2024 in recognition of his “distinguished contributions to understanding the fundamental biology of microbial ecology in multiple domains, for training of the next generation of biological and environmental scientists, and for community outreach.” John is a professor in the department of biological sciences and director of the Center for Environmental Research and Education at Duquesne University.
