John Rosengren (GRS’94) of Minneapolis, Minn., writes that Imagine Entertainment made a two-part documentary based on his article “The
Pretender,” originally published by The Atavist magazine. I’m Not a Monster, directed by Erin Lee Carr, aired on HBO last October. “I was an executive producer and consultant on the project,” he writes, “and also appear in the documentary, narrating parts of the story about Lois Riess, a grandmother with a gambling problem who murdered her husband in Blooming Prairie, Minn., then killed a look-alike woman in Florida, before being arrested on South Padre Island.” Learn more at johnrosengren.net.
