Jennifer Uhrhane
Jennifer Uhrhane (GRS’06) of Jamaica Plain, Mass., consults on a range of curatorial and collections projects with individuals, artists’ estates, and arts institutions. Currently, she is focused on the understudied abstract expressionist Libbie Mark (1905–1972). “For the past several years, I have been working closely with Mark’s family to catalog her artwork, research, and write about her fascinating life,” Jennifer writes. “So far, I have documented and inventoried over 130 paintings and works on paper, as well as two fiber pieces and one sculpture, dating from the late 1940s to the late 1960s, which are currently held by the Libbie Mark Provincetown Fund, extended family, and other collectors. Most recently, I curated and organized an exhibition of her work—and wrote an accompanying catalog—that opened on January 18, 2022, at the National Arts Club in New York, N.Y.”
