James Carty
James Carty (LAW’64) of Alexandria, Va., writes, “After a wonderful experience at BU School of Law, I spent the next 40 years in many different positions, in the military as an officer on the border between West and East Germany, serving as a JAGC during the Vietnam era, trying ad cases before the FTC, and advising a US senator about federal legislative proposals. The last 15 years, I was the associate general counsel to a large manufacturing trade association. I had a very interesting and varied legal career at a foundation that was built on schooling at Providence and BU.”
