Elizabeth Alexander

Elizabeth Alexander (GRS’87) of New Haven, Conn., was elected a member of the American Philosophical Society in the class 5 category, for the arts, professions, and leaders in public and private affairs. Elizabeth, a poet and scholar, is president of the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation.
