Edward L. Bell

Edward L. Bell (CAS’85, GRS’87) of Boston, Mass., published Persistence of Memories of Slavery and Emancipation in Historical Andover (Shawsheen Press, 2021), which is about remembrances of slavery, emancipation, and postslavery in the historical town of Andover—now Andover, North Andover, and Lawrence, Mass.—and its adjoining localities. Edward is a deputy state historic preservation officer at the Massachusetts Historical Commission.
