Dania Jekel

Dania Jekel (SSW’79) of Newton, Mass., is cofounder and executive director of Asperger/Autism Network (AANE). She is a nationally and internationally recognized expert and leader in addressing the impact of Asperger syndrome and related autism profiles on individuals and families. Dania was honored at AANE’s 20th Anniversary Celebration where, via video, US Representative Joseph P. Kennedy III commended Dania and the organization. Dania also received a citation for outstanding public service from Massachusetts Governor Charlie Baker and Lieutenant Governor Karyn Polito. Contact Dania at dania.jekel@aane.org.
