Cameron Davis

Cameron Davis (CGS’84, CAS’86) of Evanston, Ill., left the Obama administration on Inauguration Day 2017 and ran as a write-in candidate for Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Greater Chicago commissioner in Cook County in 2018. He won—to his surprise—beating the state’s former write-in record set in 1944. He ran again, winning reelection on November 3, 2020.
