Anya Babbitt

Anya Babbitt (CGS’02, COM’04) of Chicago, Ill., is CEO and cofounder of Mella Pet Care. In March, she appeared on ABC’s Shark Tank, reaching an investment deal with entrepreneur Mark Cuban. Mella is an “ecosystem of health-monitoring solutions for veterinarians and pet owners, including the first-ever noninvasive, accurate underarm thermometer for pets.” Cuban offered Mella a deal to expand distribution and accelerate the development of new products, like the Biggie Body Scale for pet body fat analysis.
