Alissa Clawson

Alissa Clawson (ENG’99) of Kent, Wash., transitioned to civilian life after nearly 21 years of service in the US Navy. Her last assignment was deputy director of communications, networks, and information systems for US Fleet Cyber Command/US 10th Fleet at Fort Meade, Md. Joining her at her Navy retirement ceremony were Cecilia Duran-Closs (CAS’99) of McLean, Va., who was Alissa’s former BU roommate, Mike Larios (ENG’88) of Severna Park, Md., and Ian Leatherman (ENG’11) of Jessup, Md.
